  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects (Maths, English, Science) tailored to students with SEN needs
  • Support pupils with EHCPs and SEMH needs in a nurturing, structured environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the development of individual education plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth
  • Requirements

    Essential :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum Grade 4 / C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs
  • Desirable :

  • Degree in a relevant subject area
  • SENCO Advanced Certificate or equivalent
  • Completion of Patoss AAA course (or willingness to undertake)
  • Experience in an alternative provision or PRU setting
