Our Medical Affairs team is growing and we are looking for our new

Medical Information and Communication Director

The Director of Medical Information and Communication will report to the Vice President of Global Medical Affairs and will be responsible for leading, directing, and overseeing the development and implementation of global medical communication strategies. The role ensures the provision and / or approval of accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information across the Nordberg portfolio, including responses to unsolicited medical information enquiries.

You Will Mostly Work On

  • Lead the global medical information function, including the development and maintenance of standard response documents (SRDs), scientific letters, FAQs, and knowledge management systems. Ensure compliant, timely, and scientifically accurate responses to medical enquiries from healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee global scientific communication activities, including the development and execution of communication plans aligned with product strategy, and the creation and review of core scientific content such as slide decks, narratives, and Q&A documents.
  • Manage scientific content for key external engagements, including congresses, symposia, and advisory boards, in close collaboration with other Medical Affairs Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal SOPs, and lead inspection readiness and audits related to medical information and scientific communication processes.

This is a highly collaborative role in which you will work closely with cross-functional teams as well as the Global Medical Affairs organisation. You will act as a strategic partner to key functions including Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, R&D, and Clinical. Additionally, you will support the Director of Nordberg Medical Institute in delivering scientific training and support to field medical teams and internal stakeholders in a global context.

What You Bring To This Role

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equal) in life sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in medical information or scientific communications.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, other languages are an advantage
  • Experience in the aesthetic, dermatology, or biotech industry preferred.
