IT Support Analyst Apprentice

Employer description :

This post is part of the Bright Futures Education Trust’s central IT team and will provide support to Rushbrook Primary Academy M18 7TN and Stanley Grove Primary Academy M12 4NL. The post holder will be based across both sites on a rota with occasional requirement to work flexibly. The role holder work under the supervision of the Trust’s Digital IT Manager, who is the line manager of the role holder.

Overview :

As part of the team, role holders will be responsible for the monitoring and resolution of IT related issues and queries. The post holder will play a pivotal role in providing a high level of user support utilising an IT service desk. The post holder will be based at each school in rotation over a working week. Some travel to other sites may be required.

Responsibilities :

• Support the provision of an efficient IT support service to Trust IT users to include 1st and 2nd line desktop, network and server infrastructure support.
• Contribute and maintain a process of IT incident call handling and escalation.
• Assist with change management implementation.
• Assist with the maintenance and support of all the Trusts IT systems and infrastructure when required.
