Job descriptionManaging all aspects of the on-site installation team from first fix to commissioning Ensuring that the AV system is installed according to the project scope and functions correctly Resource planning including project updates, risk reporting, logistics & consumable requests, and on-site resources Representing the Project Manager in their absence and signing off on small projects or delegated tasks Maintaining clear and concise communication internally and externally, and attending coordination meetings as needed Maintaining H&S files and safe systems of work for the project, and conducting H&S awareness briefings Performing quality assurance reviews of installation activities
We’re looking for a skilled AV Installation Supervisor to lead on-site installs from first fix to commissioning. You’ll bring strong AV systems knowledge, great communication, and a hands-on approach to delivering high-quality projects safely and on time.
Skills and Experience :
- Working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements, and their installation (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, Video conferencing, etc.)
- Understanding of client needs, room environments, and the ability to utilize technical knowledge of AV equipment, design concepts, and schematic drawings
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approach
- Administration skills, including typing and reporting using Office applications
- The ability to deliver under pressure with minimum supervision
- Effective communication with people at all levels
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering the role
- Experience of meeting targets and deadlines and working under pressure
