Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to join our Building Management System (BMS) Europe team, composed of a diverse group from around the world, and play a key role in transforming our sales model and industry. Honeywell BMS offers solutions to better control, monitor, and reduce the energy consumption of buildings, contributing to net zero emissions.

The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the organization to achieve profitable sales growth across Europe for the BMS portfolio, which includes hardware, software, Software as a Service, and service offerings.

In this role, you will oversee the performance of a team of over 30 sales professionals across Europe, serving multiple channels. You will leverage your knowledge of customer needs, industry segments, and competition to identify and pursue major growth opportunities, aligning internal stakeholders and collaborating with Offering Management, Business Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other Honeywell units. Ensuring key customers are well-served and expanding their business with Honeywell, you will also develop new channels and customers. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of new products and solutions in the market, identifying success factors and ensuring their implementation.

As the Sales Director, you will provide strategic guidance, develop sales strategies, and meet revenue targets.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in sales leadership roles within an international environment overseeing multiple countries
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience leading experienced sales teams
  • Experience engaging with senior-level customers
  • Proven ability to acquire new customers
  • Knowledge of the European market

    Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute Annual Operating Plans (AOP), coordinating with key stakeholders to achieve regional targets each month
  • Articulate strategies to develop customers and markets, and execute initiatives to promote adoption of new solutions and business models
  • Set sales goals, monitor progress, and develop mitigation strategies as needed
  • Manage order and revenue forecasts, aligning with manufacturing and logistics
  • Identify and develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities within Honeywell
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their business objectives and needs
  • Manage customer satisfaction through regular reviews, account management, and action plans
