Position Summary

This position is based in TCW’s London office and reports into the Co-Heads of Global Securitized Products on TCW’s Fixed Income team. This role requires working onsite at least four days a week. The IABS / EU CLO research analyst / trader will join the broader Securitized team to focus on identifying and sourcing attractive investment opportunities for client portfolios, getting best-execution on sales and / or swaps as needed, and conducting broader portfolio and market surveillance.

• Broader IABS / EU CLO credit work and trading :
• Cover the IABS / EU CLO new issue and secondary markets, along with broader ABS / CLO team
• Propose trade ideas and run bid lists, as needed
• Conduct ongoing surveillance on existing holdings
• For individual security selection, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on loans and managers / issuers, including deal document review, price / yield analysis, historical collateral performance, rating agency publications, etc.;
• Perform on-site diligence and coordinate banking and syndicate calls as needed
• General market research :
• Contribute to broader IABS / EU CLO market coverage and trends – including calls with Wall Street trading and banking, managers / issuers, etc. and reviewing relevant research and data

Base Salary : For London based position, the base salary range is £165k – £200k . This represents base salary range only.

Other Compensation : In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
