About the Role

Key Skills

• Protection Engineering Design Expertise : Proven ability to produce and check schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts to meet design specifications.
• CAD and Engineering Software Proficiency : Experience with tools like AutoCAD, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, and Amtech to develop precise technical designs.
• Industry Standards Knowledge : Strong understanding of UK industry and DNO standards, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
• Communication and Collaboration : Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills for technical discussions, client meetings, and team coordination.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to assess and resolve technical challenges while managing design risk and quality control processes effectively.
• Adaptability : Hands-on technical expertise applicable to electrical power, transmission, or distribution industries, with site experience being advantageous.
