Senior Engineer

PSR are currently working with a Tier 1 Contractor in the Swindon area who are seeking a Senior Engineer. This will be working on CP7 packages within a Rail and Civils environment.

Responsibilities :

As a Senior PTS Engineer, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the successful execution of our rail projects. Your role will encompass :

• Project Management : Overseeing the entire project life cycle, you will manage depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds. Utilising your expertise in AutoCAD, you will contribute to meticulous planning and precise execution.
• Technical Expertise : Applying your proficiency in AutoCAD and setting out to provide intricate technical guidance in track work, drainage, geotechnical, and civil engineering. You will be a key player in ensuring that engineering solutions are not only efficient but also align with industry standards.
• Quality Control : Implementing stringent quality control measures through regular inspections, ensuring that all project aspects meet the high standards set by both industry regulations and client specifications.
• Collaboration : Engaging in seamless collaboration with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and address any technical challenges that may arise during the project.
• Health and Safety : Prioritising and fostering a safety-first culture, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. You will lead by example, ensuring that all team members prioritise safety in every aspect of their work.
• Documentation : Rigorously maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation using AutoCAD, including precise drawings, comprehensive reports, and meticulous records.
