Electrical Design Engineer

Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer - Fully Remote An Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a growing team and work alongside senior engineers due to continued company growth. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the UK residential and commercial building services sector. As an intermediate-level engineer, they will need to demonstrate a passion for electrical engineering with expertise in the following areas : Good understanding of residential and commercial buildings Full understanding of Building Regulations, British Standards and IET Wiring Regulations Ability to undertake lighting calculations using wither Dialux or Relux software Capable of completing electrical cable calculations using Amtech software Proficient in using AutoCAD Must be an effective communicator in both written and verbal skills Be able to manage their own time in order to meet strict deadlines An ability to follow company standards and use standard documents Have a keen eye for detail Liaise with senior members of staff to ensure that targets are met and that any issues arising on projects can be dealt with Preparation and reviewing of drawings completed by internal CAD team The job role has the potential for growth and becoming a client facing role in the future.
