SEMH Teaching Assistant - Ealing

Start Date : September 2025

Contract : Full-time (Mon-Fri)

Salary : £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Ealing is looking for a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who need additional support.

About the Role :

Provide 1 : 1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEMH needs (including ADHD and behavioural challenges)

Support the child in managing their emotions, behaviour, and engagement with learning

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals

Help to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Be a positive role model and offer consistent, nurturing support throughout the school day

Ideal Candidate :

Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ADHD, or behavioural difficulties

Calm, patient, and proactive approach

Confident managing challenging situations in a supportive and constructive way

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for working in education and supporting vulnerable pupils
