Class 1 Driver

Join Our Team at Pentagon Food Group Were looking for a dedicated and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team in Stoke-on-Trent. Youll be looking after for the safe and timely delivery of goods, while maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle compliance.

This is a field-based role with access to a local depot. You'll play a key role in our daily operations and customer satisfaction. Accountabilities Ensure all loads are secure and comply with legal weight limits Adhere to all company procedures, including health and safety policies Collect and account for payments from customers as instructed Report any vehicle defects or incidents immediately to the Transport Manager Refuel vehicle daily as per company policy Comply with all UK driving laws and company standards Maintain high safety standards at all times What Youll Need Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card A clean driving record is preferred. Applications with minor endorsements (up to 6 points) may be considered. No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements. Solid knowledge of the UK road network Flexibility to work as a Class 2 driver when required Why Join Us?
