Role Overview

As one of only two DevOps Engineers at TurinTech AI, you'll be joining at a pivotal time with the chance to shape how DevOps is done across the company. You'll have broad responsibilities spanning cloud and on-prem infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, releases, monitoring, and more. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and variety, and is excited by the opportunity to build and run systems end-to-end. You'll work closely with development teams using technologies like GCP, AWS, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on GCP.
Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Docker for seamless deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
Ensure security best practices are followed and assist in compliance efforts.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong expertise in GCP services and architecture.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.

Proficiency in using Terraform or alternatives for infrastructure as code.

Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Github CI, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins).

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g GCP, Azure).

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.

Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
