Job Description
IT Administrator required. My client is one of Scotland’s leading independent firms who offer a complete range of legal services to businesses, individuals & families, the public sector and the modern rural economy in Scotland, the UK and beyond.
They are now seeking an IT Administrator to join their team based in Glasgow t o provide professional, efficient, and friendly IT support to all colleagues across the firm. You will be the first point of contact within the IT department focusing on end user computing, you will deal with all tickets which come in to the Service Desk on a rota basis covering remote support, desk-side assistance, preventative maintenance and project assistance when required.
Position Overview
- Providing quality first line support to all incoming enquiries
- Take ownership of all tickets ensuring accuracy, communication and resolution are all handed in a timely manner.
- Support of audio / video systems when required
- Occasional travel to our other offices around Scotland
- Manage and prioritise workload, identifying and raising any potential issues
- Ability to work alone and within your team, under the appropriate supervision
- Access control, manage on boarding, off boarding and access to IT systems
- Asset management of end points including laptops, mobiles, and portable storage
- Knowledge management and contribution to the teams knowledge.
