About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our team and lead the development and coordination of technical design packages. This role is critical to ensuring projects meet their scope, quality, schedule, and cost requirements, particularly within the UK nuclear and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage design deliverables, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Develop and implement design and safety strategies in accordance with relevant policies and standards, including BIM.
• Produce and maintain documentation for electrical infrastructure design substantiation.
• Provide technical justifications for modifications to electrical systems in high-hazard environments.
• Check and review calculations and technical documents prepared by team members.
• Ensure designs comply with requirements for high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems.
