Job Description
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated financial results for the group.
- Review inter-company transactions across the group, ensuring these appropriately eliminate.
- Support in the delivery of monthly financial reporting (both internal and external stakeholders) and board packpreparation including preparation of financial analysis to aid understanding and decision making.
- Analysing working capital.
- Support in the delivery of the annual statutory audit, financial statements and tax compliance processincluding co-ordination with the wider finance team and external auditors / tax advisors.
- Partner with internal teams on restructuring and corporate activity.
- Resolve technical accounting issues and produce supporting papers.
- Maintain integrity of general ledger financial systems & COINS mappings.
- Work with Business Unit Finance, FP&A & Treasury in the development and maintenance of policies andprocedures, controls and systems ensuring consistency of application across the Group.
- Perform data quality checks and key reconciliations to underlying system.
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Reporting Accountant should have :
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in group consolidations.Experience working within the property industry or similar sectors.Proficiency in financial reporting software and Excel.An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.The ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and financial compliance.What's on Offer
