Cloud Engineer – Microsoft Azure - Manchester

Location : Manchester / offers hybrid working | Salary : up to £65,000 | Type : Full-time, Permanent

We are working with a forward-thinking law firm who are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer. The successful candidate will play an integral part with the wider IT team managing and optimising Azure infrastructure across critical business systems.

This role is ideal for those with a passion for cloud automation, AVD, and next-gen AI tools. The opportunity is based in Manchester and offers a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days in the office / 3 days working from home.

• Design, deploy & manage Azure cloud infrastructure
• Administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment
• Automate cloud operations with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and DevOps
• Monitor performance, compliance, security & cost-efficiency
• Support cloud-based apps & systems (e.g. RingCentral)
• Collaborate on billing, reporting & optimisation strategy

The ideal candidate

3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Azure cloud engineering

Strong grasp of AVD architecture & management
