Data Engineer / Data Architect

Sector : Energy & Utilities

Location : North London or West Midlands

Hybrid working : (3 days per week in office)

Up to £90k basic plus strong benefits

E1 Partners are hiring on behalf of a forward-thinking energy business looking to modernise their data platform. They need a strong Data Engineer to take the lead on both engineering and architectural design.

The Role - This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll :

Design and build secure, scalable data pipelines using the Microsoft Azure stack
Influence and evolve the business’s data architecture and governance strategy
Support decision-making across risk, finance, and operations through high-quality, well-modelled data
Lead best practices in data management, cloud engineering, and automation

Tech You’ll Use

Azure Data Stack – Synapse, Data Lake, Azure SQL

SQL (essential), Python / C# (desirable)

Power BI, Power Automate, and API integrations

ERP / CRM experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a bonus)

Experience required :

5+ years' experience as a Data Engineer / Developer
