Estate Surveyor Overview

A great position has become available for an Estates Surveyor to join our client, a renowned clothing retailer. You will be an integral part of the property team, supporting them with the 700+ retail stores. You will negotiate lease terms and reviews, ensure lease obligations are fulfilled and work with Senior Management to align property decisions with the wider business objectives.

Estate Surveyor Responsibilities

• Monitoring lease dates and complete rent reviews and lease renewals.
• Negotiate consents and permissions from landlords
• Ensure any disputes between landlords and tenants are resolved promptly with minimum disruption
• Ensure landlord lease obligations are met, particularly in relation to repairs
• Take responsibility for the management of non-operational premises
• Take responsibility for securing refunds or overpayments for third parties
• Manage and maintain the property database
• Checking invoices from landlords to ensure accuracy, challenging if appropriate

This is a remote role, but it is required to go to the head office fortnightly.
