Meet the client :

We are currently looking for carers to support our new client who has suffered an acquired brain injury. He requires 24-hour care, is non-verbal, and totally dependent on others for all care needs. He has a gentle nature and is easy to work with.

What you'll be doing :

This role supports our new male client at his home for day and night shifts. He has suffered an acquired brain injury and requires support with personal care, hygiene, PEG feeds, gastrostomy, nebuliser, and oral suctioning. Full clinical training will be provided.

The ability to drive is required as public transport in the area is unreliable.

Team Leader responsibilities include :

• Supporting the Care Manager and Head Office in managing the care package
• Supporting the Care Co-ordinator with team rota management to ensure reliable care
• Mentoring the care team and acting as a role model for safe practice
