PHP / Laravel & Python / AI | Innovations Team | On-site Gym | Bonus Scheme

Ada Meher is currently working with a Digital-First Insurance business to recruit an R&D Engineer for their Innovations Team. This team seeks to implement new technologies to optimize operations and delivery, working across disciplines such as data analytics and operations. Responsibilities include building POCs and managing approved projects.

The core development stack involves PHP / Laravel / Vue, so experience in this area is essential. The role also explores emerging technologies and AI, so curiosity and interest in these areas are beneficial.

The position is based in Doncaster, with a hybrid working model requiring 1-2 days in the office weekly. Candidates should be within commuting distance and willing to travel.

• Experience in Research & Development roles
• Proficiency in OOP PHP and MVC Frameworks (preferably Laravel)
• Experience with Software Optimizations
• Experience with AI / Python is advantageous
