We’re looking for a Senior Credit Analyst
About Brit
At Brit, we believe that the uncertainty of the future should never stand in the way of progress. That’s why we exist—to help people and businesses face the future and thrive. We are change-makers enabled by a global workforce who collaborate to deliver risk services. Our team is empowered to help our customers not only survive the risks they face but also stay proactive and keep moving forward. We believe that the uncertainty of tomorrow is an opportunity, not a threat—full of potential for our customers and our employees alike.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting the Political & Credit Risk underwriting team, you’ll analyze and provide clear credit opinions on individual credit risks, highlighting deal strengths and weaknesses. In coordination with the Senior Credit Manager, you’ll produce ratings for corporate obligors and transactions based on established procedures, external modelling guidelines, and expert judgment.
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you’ll proactively conduct ad hoc economic, industry, and sector analyses to enhance underwriting effectiveness and efficiency. You’ll support the P&CR team in forming and monitoring robust views on international economies and key sectors.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the risk characteristics, drivers, and mitigants of a wide range of international banking products, including corporate lending, real estate finance, trade, structured and commodity finance, borrowing base / reserve-based lending, and project finance. This role is suited to a formally trained credit analyst with experience working in a head or regional office credit department of an international bank or similar relevant credit analysis experience in a PCR insurance underwriting team.
