An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team-orientated UTC. The vacancy is on a full time, term time only basis (08 : 15 to 16 : 00 hrs daily)

The role of the Cover Supervisor is essential to provide assistance to the teaching departments by delivering lessons already prepared by the teacher. When not being used to cover for absent staff you will be required to support students either in class or in small groups.

We want to hear from you if you have an interest in teaching or have had previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, volunteer or youth leader with secondary aged students. The successful applicant will be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is able to make the significant contribution required to secure the very best outcomes for all students at UTC Swindon. As part of our Induction Programme, full training will be given on our classroom procedures and protocols.

This is suitable for qualified or unqualified teachers and staff looking for experience pre-teaching qualification. This is a responsible and rewarding role and can be a great steppingstone into teacher training. There is also the chance for future teaching training through the Trust if the successful candidate is interested.
