The accounts manager will oversee accounts payable and treasury functions within the accounting and finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the FMCG sector to join a permanent role in Swansea.

Description

  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports related to accounts payable and treasury activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
  • Assist in managing the audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.

Profile

A successful accounts manager should have :

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and treasury management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Competitive salary range of £31,500 to £40,000 per annum.
  • Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays, with the potential to earn up to 5 additional days.
