Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Charge : Take a leading role in preparing pitches and pricing / market updates for clients, showcasing your expertise and creativity.
  • Strategic Analysis : Collaborate with the syndicate desk to elaborate pricing rationales and analyzeparables, ensuring our strategies are top-notch.
  • Opportunity Assessment : Review and analyze new business opportunities with deal teams, identifying the best paths forward.
  • Memo Mastery : Prepare detailed memos for internal credit and marketsmittees, driving informed decision-making.
  • Portfolio Support : Assist the portfolio team in drafting annual reviews and monitoring client portfolios, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Financial Modelling : Develop robust financial models for transactions, providing critical insights and projections.
  • Administrative Excellence : plete necessary administrative tasks for new deal opportunities, includingpliance, NDA processing, businessmittee reviews, and profitability analysis. Maintain pipeline updates in Diamond.
  • Documentation Review : Support senior originators in reviewing leveraged finance documentation, covenants,mitment papers, investment memorandums, precedents, and sponsor grids. Assist in negotiating the Description of Notes and preparing covenantparables.
  • Marketing Materials : Createpelling marketing materials for senior originators, including bond proposals, acquisition financing pitches, market updates, and summaries.
  • Execution Preparation : Prepare marketing documents for deal execution, including offering memorandums, roadshow presentations, due diligence questionnaires, loan syndication materials, and ratings agency materials.
  • Client Interaction : Engage with clients as a support to senior originators, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Execution Support : Actively participate in the execution process, including due diligence, client conference calls, roadshow presentations, and drafting sessions.
  • KYC Tasks : On-board and carry out KYC tasks for new transactions, ensuringpliance and accuracy.

Market Intelligence : Process market information from databases, market intelligence, and publications, staying ahead of industry trends.

  • Team Coordination : Coordinate and network with internal teams, including debt syndicate, derivatives desk, coverage, product team, and DCM Legal, to deliver focused solutions to potential issuers.
  • Market Research : Conduct thorough market research on business, sector, and transactional trends.
