Project Manager – UAE

This role is based on-site in the UAE and will require relocation. ALEC will be holding interviews in the UK & Ireland week commencing 30th June 2025.

About Your Team

You’ll report directly to the Project Director and lead a multidisciplinary team of department heads. Our teams are built on mutual respect, shared goals, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will :

  • Lead project execution, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability standards are met.
  • Manage the Cost-Versus-Allowable (CVA) process to protect contract profit margins.
  • Oversee engineering deliverables, procurement schedules, and programme integration.
  • Enforce HSE compliance and SHEIRMS standards across all activities.
  • Chair weekly commercial and progress meetings, ensuring alignment with targets.
  • Manage human resources, including performance reviews and team development.
  • Provide accurate monthly reports and manage CVA updates with senior management.

This is a full-time role that requires travel between project sites and client locations.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 10+ years in project management, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven expertise in contract administration, cost control, QA / QC, and HSE compliance.

    • Knowledge

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.

    • Skills

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • PMP or Agile / Lean certification (preferred).
