• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of heating controls systems and newly launched smart thermostat for radiators
• Majority of your time will be spent selling to heating engineers and plumbing and heating contractors / installers within housing associations, housebuilders and social housing organisations
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to / managing plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers and independent merchants accounts
• Offering advice on promotions, merchandising (small amount), providing support, technical input, passing on sales leads etc.
• Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue
• Four days a week on the road, one day a week (Friday) working from home – administration The ideal applicant will be a Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls with :
• Ideally 2 years+ construction external field sales experience
• Plumbing & heating / electrical market experience is not essential but may be useful
• May consider a branch manager for a plumbing and heating merchant or electrical wholesaler with field sales experience
• Would consider someone more junior in their career
• Ideally sold to plumbing & heating contractors / installers
• Ideally managed merchants, distributors or electrical wholesale accounts
• Enthusiastic, and comfortable working with an evolving business
• Must be IT literate
• IEE electrical / electronics HNC / HND or equivalent would be a bonus
