Production Planner

Working for an award-winningwindowandoormanufacturer based in Telford the role of manufacturing planner will be responsible for daily production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand with optimal stock levels and high delivery performance. This role ensures efficient use of production capacity and resources, coordinates cross-functionally, and champions continuous improvement and lean practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, and resource availability.
• Monitor and control raw materials and consumables for uninterrupted production.
• Adjust schedules based on sales forecasts and volume fluctuations.
• Maintain high stock availability and resolve shortages or discrepancies.
• Communicate with key teams to ensure accurate lead times and customer satisfaction.
• Optimise schedules to balance efficiency, material usage, and changeovers.
• Continuously review planning systems and KPI performance for improvements.
• Promote lean thinking and ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001.
