Are you a newly qualified SEN Teaching Assistant eager to make a real difference?

We’re looking for a compassionate, energetic, and enthusiastic individual ready to begin their rewarding career supporting children with special educational needs.

About the Role : This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified SEN TA to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and inclusive SEN provision. You’ll be working closely with experienced staff, specialist teachers, and external professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide 1 : 1 and small group support tailored to individual EHCPs
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with personal care where necessary
  • Use a range of communication tools and behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to deliver learning plans

About You : We’re looking for someone who is :

  • Newly qualified with a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Passionate about working with children with special educational needs
  • Patient, empathetic, and eager to learn from a strong team
  • Positive and resilient with a proactive mindset
  • Able to commit to the school and its pupils long-term
