Job description

Job Title : Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry

Grade : Specialty Doctor

Location : Stafford Staffordshire

Working Hours : 40 hours per week

Rate : Competitive details to be discussed upon application

We are seeking a committed Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Stafford Staffordshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) settings

Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to the development of individualised treatment plans

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery

Assist senior clinicians in managing complex cases and care coordination

Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation

Qualifications & Experience

Full GMC registration

Section 12 approval

Experience in Adult Psychiatry particularly within inpatient and CMHT environments

Previous experience in a similar role
