Job description

Scalers HQ are working in partnership with a growing FinTech partner in the UK and we are are looking for a Senior Frontend React Engineer to join them on a contractual basis.

The role :

You’ll be working closely with product managers, designers and engineers across teams to create a world-class user experience for our customers.

You'll be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of our partners checkout user interface and user experience (UI / UX).

Responsibilities

Work on critical frontend applications used by a global network of sellers
Develop greenfield products and enhance our existing front-end architecture
Collaborate closely and pair with product designers
Provide engineering advice for team issues, and be involved in wider technical decisions that positively impact the department and company
Collaborate with backend engineers on API specifications and integration
Improve the seller & customer experience in gradual, frequent iterations

Experience required

Have strong technical skills with : React, TypeScript, CSS, React Testing

Library / Vitest, Playwright.

Implemented performant, responsive front-end applications in agile Product teams.

Have substantial experience working closely with product designers during discovery and implementation phases of projects.

Have a strong understanding of the development process from design through to

deployment and maintenance and what that means for day-to-day development.

Have worked with AWS & Terraform or other cloud services & infrastructure-as-code
