Automation Test Lead – Python | Edinburgh (Hybrid, 2 Days Onsite)

Are you a seasoned Python Test Automation expert ready to lead innovation and quality across complex systems? We’re hiring an Automation Test Lead / Architect to design, implement, and lead a high-performance test automation function.

What You’ll Do :

Architect scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Python .
Mentor and lead a talented team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape test strategies, plans, and execution roadmaps .
Champion automation best practices and ensure excellence in delivery and code quality.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide visibility, and manage expectations.
Identify gaps in current testing processes and implement strategies for efficiency and coverage .
Drive timely and successful completion of testing milestones.

What You Bring :

10+ years of experience in software testing , with a core focus on Python automation .

Proven success in building test automation frameworks from scratch .

Hands-on expertise with :

PyTest

Selenium

REST API testing

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and SDLC processes.

Leadership capabilities with a track record of mentoring QA teams .

Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management .

Proactive, self-driven mindset with ownership of quality initiatives .
