As a result of our expansion plans and our continued ongoing success we are seeking an IT Field Engineer, to be based in Scotland.

This position brings daily challenges and responsibilities aimed at troubleshooting problems and providing solutions. This position is a great fit for avid problem solvers, and also incorporates a balance of technical skills and business knowledge. Work environments can range between the Head Office, Stores and Distribution Centres located across the UK and ROI.

Responsibilities :

  • Break / fix work as required
  • Liaising extensively with external or internal clients
  • Supporting new site rollouts
  • Maintenance of equipment and infrastructure
  • Undertaking installation work at new and existing sites
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis and repair of existing installations
  • Software and Hardware rollouts
  • Company Van Services, Repairs and Faults

Skills and Knowledge :

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Common Sense, Self Confidence and Business awareness
  • The ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to contribute to a team effort
  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail
  • A methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including building client rapport
  • Someone who will be able to work under pressure

  • Full Clean UK driving License
  • Monday to Friday 08 : 45 – 17 : 30
  • From time to time, as per Business Requirements, additional work will be required outside of these times
  • Overnight stays may be required on occasion
  • Based on experience
