Your Role :

As a customer-facing driver, you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Broxburn and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include :

  • Efficient & Safe Operation :  Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely.
  • Timely Deliveries :  Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.
  • Compliance :  Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.
  • Customer Service :  Represent JDP at the point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have :

  • Minimum Class C Licence :  Essential for operating our vehicles.
  • Driver CPC card :  Essential.
  • Digital Tacho Card :  Essential for compliance.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge :  Understanding of workplace safety.
  • Driver Procedures :  Detailed knowledge of driving hours rules and regulations.
  • Route Planning :  Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.
  • Communication Skills :  Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Forklift Truck Experience :  Advantageous but not essential.
