Registered Children's Home Manager (Dual Registration)
Location : Manchester (Chorlton and Withington)
Salary : Up to £90k per annum (£70k base + performance bonus of £10k per home)
Hours : Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm - 1 in 4 on call

Your Role as a Registered Children's Home Manager here :
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to oversee two Ofsted-rated 'Good' homes in Manchester. The homes are fully staffed and occupied, and you will play a vital role in leading a dedicated team to provide high-quality care for young residents.
As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will :
Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding for children and young peopleLead and manage a dedicated team, including deputy managers and care workersOversee placement plans, risk assessments, and home support strategiesFoster a positive, supportive environment for staff and residentsMaintain compliance with the Care Standards Act 2000 and Children's Homes RegulationsManage budgets, operations, and external stakeholder relationshipsReporting directly to the Head of Care, you will have at least one deputy manager to support you in delivering exceptional leadership.Whats required for the Registered Children's Home Manager role :
Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential childcare, including 12+ months as a home managerStrong leadership skills with experience supervising and managing care staffAbility to build and develop a resilient, supportive, and high-performing teamExpertise in safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and Ofsted inspectionsGood knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Social Care Common Inspection FrameworkExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsMust hold Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)Full manual driving licence requiredWhy Join?
