About The Role Job Summary :   McGowan Environmental Engineering Ltd, an Aviemore based company which specialises in undertaking peatland restoration, river restoration, forest road, estate track and path construction works in remote rural locations throughout Scotland.Due to an increased workload we currently require a full-time Environmental Plant Operator to join our busy close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company with a chance to work in some of the most beautiful rural locations in the country. Key Responsibilities :

• Operate plant machinery safely, in accordance with Industry Best Practice and training received.
• Undertake plant machinery operations on varying ground conditions and terrain safely, in accordance with machine and operator own capability.
• Assist plant haulier during loading and unloading activities
• Adhere to Site Supervisor / Manager instructions
• Ensure plant machinery and operations adhere to Site Rules and No-Go zones
• Carry out daily machine maintenance and inspection. Reporting of any machine defects on the company reporting facility
• Completion of weekly timesheet.
