The Interim HSE Manager will oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance within an industrial / manufacturing setting. This temporary role is based in Rotherham and requires expertise in risk management and regulatory standards.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and review HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee safety audits and inspections to maintain workplace safety standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on HSE best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management to integrate HSE objectives into operational goals.
  • Maintain up–to–date knowledge of industry regulations and legislative changes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Interim HSE Manager should have :

  • Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving skills for risk assessment and incident investigation.
  • A professional qualification in HSE or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering training and reporting.
  • A proactive and detail–oriented approach to workplace safety.
