Vehicle Technician required in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician who is looking to work for a company that provide a fantastic and realistic overall earning opportunity?! Our motor trade Main Car Dealer client has an opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy site.

The Vehicle Technician role will be to perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles, identifying problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment. You will also be required to explain repairs and issues to customers alongside providing great customer service.

Details & Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role :

  • Offering a competitive Basic Salary alongside an efficiency bonus giving an overall enring potential up to £50,000.00 p.a. (this will be depending on your own efficiency).
  • Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays worked 8.00am-1.00pm.
  • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.
  • An excellent package of in-house and off-site training.
  • Company pension.
  • Free on-site parking.

Requirements of the Role :

  • A professional and stable track record as a Vehicle Technician.
  • NVQ / City & Guilds certifications required or the equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard.
  • Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points.
  • Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use the vehicle diagnostic equipment.
  • MOT Tester would be an advantage but not essential.
  • You must hold a UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.
