Our client is a well-established Main Contractor seeking a talented and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial team. With a strong pipeline of exciting and significant commercial building projects across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt, this is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in high-profile developments. The Role : As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in the commercial success of our commercial building projects from inception to completion. You will work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure financial control, mitigate risks, and maximise value at every stage. Key Responsibilities : Cost Planning & Feasibility : Assisting with initial cost appraisals, feasibility studies, and detailed cost plans for various commercial building projects. Tender & Contract Documentation : Preparing and analysing project costings for tenders, including bills of quantities, and assisting with the preparation of robust contract documents. Procurement & Subcontractor Management : Managing the procurement process for subcontractor packages, conducting negotiations, and overseeing subcontractor accounts from initial award through to final account. Valuations & Payments : Preparing, submitting, and agreeing interim and final valuations with clients, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
