DRAINAGE ENGINEER

Location : Derby

Salary : £30-£40k (Depending on experience)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drainage Design Engineer to join their team in Derby . The successful candidate will be responsible for producing Flood Risk Assessments, designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and working on a range of design infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree or a similar qualification, and previous experience in an Infrastructure Design role.

Drainage Engineer Responsibilities :

• Producing Flood Risk Assessments and designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant current standards, guidelines and contemporary environmental solutions.
• Working with other disciplines and interested parties on design and detailing of infrastructure works.
• Agreement process for S278 and S38 highway schemes.
• Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of Section 104 and 106 for drainage.
• Representing the employer on a client-facing basis.
• Working independently and using proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, AutoTrack, PDS, PDS Line, and PDS Sign.
• Desired experience in MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow and ideally Civil 3D
