The Vacancy
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Paraplanner in our Personal Wealth team, based in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The role is envisaged as full-time; however, we are open to considering candidates interested in a 4-day working week.
What will your role look like?
Our Paraplanners oversee the quality and accuracy of financial plans, lead strategic planning, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will analyze complex financial scenarios, evaluate specialist financial products, and collaborate with Planners to provide expert recommendations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with Planners and stakeholders is essential. You will present complex financial concepts and contribute to the development of the financial planning function through strategic input and guidance. The role requires exceptional technical knowledge and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Your main duties include research and report writing, with a requirement for competence in suitability report writing and experience in producing reports on various products and services.
