Position : Senior Structural Design Engineer Location : Sheffield, Rotherham, South Yorkshire Salary : £40,000-£60,000 negotiable according to experience Hybrid : No, this is an on-site role Suitable for new Graduate / Masters : No - whilst a degree level qualification is essential, demonstrable professional experience at a Senior level is also essential Visa support : No - you MUST have the right to work in the UK Driving licence : UK driving licence essential due to occasional site work The role : Producing new designs Validating designs (your own and others) Support technical sales with RFQ / RFI / Enquiries Carry out structural analysis work, including finite element analysis (loads, linear FEA) Advise on material selection Compile test procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and customer specifications Liaise certification authorities to obtain product approvals and endorsements Maintain all design files Supervise and mentor Structural Design Engineers Contribute to the continuing improvement programme to reduce costs and raise quality About You : Degree qualified in a relevant subject - Mechanical Engineering, Structural engineering or very similar Masters qualification preferred Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng Able to work on multiple projects at the same time Proven structural engineering and design experience - 5 years preferred Proven structural ana...
