Salary : B2B - GBP24,50 / h

COE - GBP19 / h

Technical Business Analyst with Insurance domain - Mrald Peake IT Dev Team - UK Location

Qualifications :

  • 6-8 years of experience in the UK insurance industry with ITIL and Service Management, interpreting customer's business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with .Net, C#.
  • Understanding of IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc).
  • Aptitude for learning and applying new and / or updated programming languages, techniques, and / or software development disciplines.
  • Advanced programming / configuration / analytical skills to achieve business and / or technical requirements.
  • Substantial experience in requirement analysis and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in authoring requirement documents or writing user stories.
  • Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps boards.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Gathering business requirements for client projects.
  • Providing input into all meetings related to the agile delivery framework.
  • Ensuring that all requirements are well defined, understood, and reviewed with developers and testers at an early stage.
  • Quickly unblocking any issues raised by developers and testers during a sprint.
  • Keeping DevOps up to date with any CRs and bugs submitted by the client.
  • Splitting DevOps epics into user stories and user stories into development and testing tasks for assignment to team members.
  • Being the point of reference for any queries from a development and testing perspective during sprint intervals.
  • Resolving any issues relating to requirements between the business and the client.
  • Managing change controls relating to systems & processes.
  • Building knowledge and subject matter expertise relating to products developed.
  • Creating test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.
  • Providing support to end users during UAT and debugging root causes of any issues.
