Warehouse Operative / Forklift driver

Job Description :

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative with Forklift experience to join our team at a busy freight forwarding company . This is a permanent, full-time position offering a stable Monday to Friday schedule and a competitive basic salary of £27,000 per year .

The role involves general warehouse duties, including loading and unloading freight, order picking, stock control, and operating forklifts to support the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities :

Load and unload goods safely and efficiently

Operate forklifts (Counterbalance and / or Reach, depending on licence)

Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch

Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records

Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards

Support other warehouse tasks as required in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment

Requirements :

Proven experience in a warehouse role, preferably within freight forwarding or logistics

Valid forklift licence (RTITB or equivalent - Counterbalance and / or Reach)
