Can you help a community organisation reach its potential?

This is an exciting opportunity for a trusts and foundations fundraiser with some experience to shape a new role. The post offers an attractive balance between autonomy and close collaboration with the CEO, who is also an experienced fundraiser and a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

You will be responsible for applying for grants, managing relationships with existing funders, and contributing to the organisation’s fundraising strategy. The role is suitable for a competent trusts and foundations fundraiser with a few years’ experience, looking to diversify into other fundraising areas like individual donations, community, events, or corporate fundraising.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a busy local charity focused on reducing poverty and improving health, education, and opportunities for residents of our community.

The role involves fundraising for projects including Newham District Foodbank, welfare benefits advice, immigration advice, ESOL classes, and work with adults with learning difficulties, children, young people, and families.

The position is based in Custom House, Newham, with options for homeworking or hybrid arrangements by negotiation.
