Position Overview

Culligan UK Limited is looking for a competent and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and associated equipment. As a key member of our team, you will help us maintain high standards of service and performance in line with our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance effectively and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical & pneumatic systems.
  • Identify and implement improvements to equipment and processes to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, and help develop parts inventory systems
  • Work collaboratively with production & planning teams to understand and address equipment issues.
  • Liaise and maintain good relationships with key suppliers.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Be willing to occasionally work flexible patterns to meet production demands.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new technologies and equipment operation

Requirements

  • Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a fast-moving production environment
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive attitude
  • A demonstrable eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel etc)
