Rate : £20 - £23 / hr PAYE (DE)

Role Summary :

An experienced Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist is required to support 'Front Door Services'. The role involves working within an acute setting to assess and treat patients at the point of hospital admission. The focus is on promoting early intervention and discharge planning to reduce hospital stays and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide timely and comprehensive occupational therapy assessments

Contribute to rapid discharge planning and admission avoidance

Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient flow

Apply clinical reasoning in a fast-paced environment

Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual needs

Requirements :

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Prior experience in acute hospital or front-door services

Strong communication and decision-making skills

Ability to work flexibly and manage a dynamic caseload
