Job description

Our client, a prominent company in the Building Control sector, is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team in Cambridgeshire. This permanent position is open to both class 2 and class 3 inspectors who will be responsible for both plan checking and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conducting detailed plan checking to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes
• Performing thorough site inspections to assess current and potential issues
• Ensuring all construction and design work adhere to approved plans and regulations
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation on inspection findings
• Liaising with builders, architects, and engineers to provide guidance on compliance matters
• Providing expert advice on building control issues
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progression
