Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Position : Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter

Location : Sheffield

Shifts : Monday to Friday days (early finish Friday) - some flexi-time available

Overtime : Regularly available

Sector : Metals manufacturing, engineering

The Role :

• Reactive and preventative maintenance of a range of production machinery including machine tools, CNC equipment, lathes, milling machines, grinders, heat treatment
• Upkeep of the CMMS
• Ensuring an adequate supply of spare parts
• Project work - machine movement / calibration / installation, continuous improvement projects
• Maintenance of tooling
• Oversee work of third part sub-contractors
