About The Role

Job title : Suite Manager

Location : Deanston (FK16 postcode)

Hours : 40 hours per week

You will need to be a leader as well as a manager and inspire and motivate your staff by your words, actions, and behaviours every single day. You will put the service users’ needs and interests first so that everything you do is to help them achieve their hopes, dreams, and aspirations. You will be our representative and be the first point of contact for families, local organisations, and commissioners. Rotationally you will be required to take responsibility for the whole service in the manager’s absence and report in that instance to the Regional Director you will need to be confident to complete required reports and take responsibility for these reports being completed and submitted within the set deadlines.

The Role Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

  • You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
  • Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times.
  • Ensure that all the people we support have person-centered support / care plans. You will be able to create and update these plans as per any changes that are required.
  • To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.

    A stunning manor situated in the picturesque village of Deanston, Doune. The service benefits from large grounds on the edge of the village, close to local amenities.

    The service offers a high standard off nursing care and supports people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behaviour.

    The home provides 3 individual and independent suites accommodating up to 6 in each, with a further two studio apartments on the ground floor.
