Tech Recruiter ( 6 month FTC)
Founded in 2012 Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) is an independent studio creating Star Citizen a record-breaking multiplayer space sim and Squadron 42 a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. As a crowdfunded company were supported by a passionate community of backers who share our mission to build the Best Damn Space Sim Ever.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in technical hiring and the confidence to quickly build strong partnerships with hiring managers .
About the Role
Were looking for a passionate and intuitive Tech Recruiter to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract supporting hiring across a range of technical disciplines from our Manchester studio.
This role goes beyond simply filling vacancies its about scaling our EU-based teams to help drive delivery on Squadron 42 and other key projects. Youll play a key part in building sustainable talent pipelines identifying exceptional technical talent and ensuring every candidate has a world-class experience from first contact to final offer.
Youll work closely with hiring managers across our European studios and collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition team as we continue a major recruitment push to meet the demands of an exciting development roadmap.
What Youll Be Doing
Managing end-to-end recruitment for tech and engineering roles across CIGs European studios
Building sourcing strategies to engage top-tier candidates proactively including for niche and hard-to-fill roles
Partnering with hiring managers to understand team needs and translate them into effective hiring plans
Improving candidate pipelines through direct sourcing methods including headhunting .
Ensuring candidates have a seamless and memorable experience from initial outreach to onboarding
Maintaining accurate recruitment data reporting on pipeline health .
Acting as a recruitment partner not just a service giving strategic input and insight to help hiring succeed .
What Were Looking For
Solid experience in tech and engineering recruitment ideally within the games software or creative industries
A mix of in-house and / or agency experience is welcome we value adaptability and drive
Proven success sourcing across multiple platforms and using various outreach methods
Confidence in improving and owning recruitment operations (ATS workflows documentation metrics)
Ability to work across time zones and support international hiring needs
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills
A collaborative can-do attitude were a close-knit team that supports each other
A passion for games and the ambition to help build a world-class team
